The Puyallup Art & Wine Walk is an annual event sponsored by the Puyallup Main Street Association. The Puyallup Art and Wine Walk will be taking place this Saturday, October 1 from 3:00-7:00 pm.

Throughout downtown Puyallup, participating downtown businesses will host wine tastings and exhibits of local artists. Don’t miss out on this premier event in downtown Puyallup. Wines from Washington with an emphasis on the Walla Walla region will be served at twenty-two wine host sites.

For the beer lover, The Station U-Brew is serving up The Conductor, a peach/rhubarb beer specially brewed for this event and Breakman Jack amber.

This favorite fall afternoon will include food tastes from area restaurants, an art scavenger hunt and the opportunity to stomp some grapes!

Day 209: Puyallup Fair – Day 3, Puyallup, WA

There are only 6 days left of the Puyallup Fair, have you gone yet?

The Puyallup Fair is a great place for families to come and have a great time but for the Kids…there’s a special place that they will really love!

Sillyville

In Sillyville you will find:

  • Vintage Train & Station – The C.P. Huntington Train travels on a 24-inch track gauge and is housed in a new 4,000 square foot station with an early 1900s feel. It reaches speeds of 12 mph with seven seats per car – two adults and one child per seat, or four children per seat.
  • Train Tunnel – a 120-foot mine shaft-themed tunnel, featuring an interior 3-D mural of friendly dinosaurs living in the Pacific Northwest
  • SillyVille Food Court – featuring kids value menu items

Day 207: Puyallup Fair – Day 1, Puyallup, WA

There are A LOT of things to do at the Puyallup Fair, but today I want to highlight the FREE things to do at the Fair.

My family’s been going to the fair since before I was born and most of the time we don’t spend a dime once were in the gates. Sure, of course I go on a ride or two, but for the most part everything we do during the day is FREE.

Day 206: Puyallup Fair, Puyallup, WA

Its here! The Puyallup Fair is here…one of the largest events in Puyallup brings in over 1.1 Million visitors during the dates of September 9th – 25th.

There are so many things to do at the Puyallup Fair that starting today the 13th and through the next couple weeks I will highlight different events and attractions at the Puyallup Fair!

For example, I will dive into the history of the White Roller Coaster, or the history of the fair and its origins. I will also highlight some upcoming concerts and shows. All fun things!

Day 205: Touch-a-Truck 2011, Puyallup, WA

Does your child have a love for trucks and large vehicles? Then check out Pierce County’s ‘Touch-A-Truck’ event this Saturday, September 10 from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Sprinker Recreation Center.

Kids of all ages will love to climb, run around, sit in and even honk horns of many types of trucks and vehicles!

Come explore a fire engine, dump trucks, command center, bucket truck, striper, tractor, military vehicles, school buses and so many more.

New solid waste and LeMay vehicles including a mobile shredder unit have been added to the lineup! Bring your personal documents to be shredded for FREE!

Food donation bins will also be set up to accept canned food items for the Food Bank.

Big Truck T-shirts will be for sale on the day of the event for $7. Don’t miss your chance to buy one on Saturday!
